A-fib can cause blood to collect in the upper chambers of the heart and form clots that can get into the bloodstream and cause a stroke and other complications.
A-fib accounts for 15% of all strokes in the United States, according to the American Heart Association, and is especially prevalent among those in Kentucky and Indiana.
The A-fib Clinic was established to provide specialized care for the condition and reduce the risk of stroke and other complications while keeping you out of the hospital.
